Lowell is married to Frankie J. Moore, who is a Judge on the Nebraska State Court of Appeals. He has two children and six grandchildren. Lowell has served on the Nebraskaland Days Board of Directors and was President of the Board. Lowell has also served as President of the North Platte Ambassadors.

Michael was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on April 11, 1950, and was raised in North Platte. Mike obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1972 and his law degree form the same school in 1975. Immediately following his graduation he joined his father in the private practice of law in North Platte. Mike practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate, real estate, and corporate & business planning.
Mike is married to Janie McCarthy who is a retired speech and language teacher with the North Platte Public Schools. Mike has four children, and two grandchildren. Mike served on the North Platte Board of Education and served as the Board’s President. Mike served on the Great Plains Regional Medical Center Board of Directors and served as the Board’s Chair. Presently Mike is on the Board of Directors of the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce and Development Corporation, and serves as Chairman of the Nebraska Commission on the Unauthorized Practice of Law.
